Last night I watched Cinema5D's vid on how to shoot drone footage like a pro , and Seb mentions how he reckons you need to get really close to objects to shoot dramatic drone footage, and that he turns off obstacle avoidance on his Inspire for this reason.
So I went flying this morning, and seeing I fly a P3 Pro, there is no obstacle avoidance to turn off, but never the less I bit the bullet and got a little brave with my landing. Probably every day stuff for the experienced pilots, but seeing I'm only ten days in, I was happy enough.
So how close do you fly to that edge?
