Are you just putting "if found, please call - 555-555-5555. Reward offered? How/where are you labeling your bird?

I've seen a few folks with the "no more Mr. Nice Guy" stickers from UAVSTICKERS
http://www.uavstickers.com/products-dji-phantom.php (right side, mid-way down the page)
or just their "If found" stickers in their Identity Set

There are also these, which I don't personally like... but you have to admit they're hard to miss

In general, I don't think placement is that big an issue. If someone finds your Phantom, they're going to be flipping it every which way anyway. I just printed out a placard and taped it on with clear packing tape, for now. I placed it dead center on the top, but it could just as well be on one of the arms, or on the bottom, and I don't think it'd be any less noticeable. I also wrote in Sharpie next to the manufacturer's label on the bottom, because the packing tape probably isn't the most permanent solution and could easily get torn off in a crash or fall off if it got wet. I have a Vision, so I did also label the camera with a Sharpie, in case it were ever to break away from the body in a crash.

I'm getting a new shell shortly, and will probably use a more permanent label on it.

If I had a cat I would most likely put it on my P2 and fly it somewhere far, far away. :D

Not too elegant, think I'll swap it out for a custom vinyl decal with a logo or something.

I went for my email address instead of a phone number. Not sure why.

In addition for "Reward if found, phone #" on the outside, my email & phone are on the MicroSD card as a .TXT file.

In addition to labels. I put a TXT file on the card. "PleaseReadIfFound. Txt". It has all my information on it with a short plead about the return. I figure if someone finds it, the card being plugged into a computer is very likely to happen.

Bad thing to say with a cat person or two or many more than you may think around here.
    .
Phone number and reward sticker off center towards an arm.
