Hover app question

Good day everyone. In the hover app are those orange circles that say recreation rules does that mean I can not fly my phantom there?

DJI has their own NFZ's and I don't know if Hover mimics them perfectly. I have seen different NFZ's in different apps.

It means you are within 5 miles of an airport and recreational rules apply. Like notifying the airport prior to flying, stay under 400ft, etc. etc.

Try the FAA app B4UFLY. It's on both Android and iOS.

 

[Interstellar]

UAV Forecast just released an update on Android that shows a lot more airports, heliports and stuff. It's better than Hover. Probably iOS too soon, they usually update the app pretty quickly.

My app says caution where I live and looking on the map I am outside of the circle. Does this mean I am ok to fly without permission as long as I stay out of the yellow circle indicated on the map?
