Still don't have a case for my P3A and still using the box it came in. We are taking a trip that's about a 5 hour drive to a water park then a few more hours in the vehicle before we can check into the lodging.

I'm thinking I don't want to keep this in a hot vehicle that long. The ride there would probably need to stay in the bed of the pickup (with a cover) and then in the cab once there. Easily 120 to 130F I would think.

Is this too hot for an extended time?

I put the batteries in a cooler with an ice pack. Keep everything in zip lock bags so nothing gets wet. Not a ton of ice, just a bit to keep temps down.
