How do you get to the options for hot point?
One video showed an icon between "home" and "mode" but does not appear on version 1.2.
Options are:
camera outwards
camera inwards
camera locked to point (POI)
remote control

And how do you set the radius of that circle?

What I had seen the one time was definitely in the pilot app for ipad.
There were four small icons. Each one showing the red airplane triangle and a couple with a half circle showing the camera pointing inwards or outwards.

Since that functionality doesn't exist in any version of the Pilot app, I can only assume you saw it on a 3rd party app like Litchi or Ultimate Flight...

This is the Vision Pilot app, from Taco Toy, not the DJI Pilot app. It has a similar GUI as the DJI Pilot app, but the P3 and I1 are in beta, and you need the developers firmware installed.
