Hot batteries back in the case?

Hey all

Wanna know your opinion if you do put just used batteries which are warm/hot back in the case? Or you wait till its cool down a bit?

I put them in the case until I get to the car or house. Then let them cool. If I am using more than one at a flight location, I just set the just used one in the case and leave the case open to cool. That seems to work ok.

I leave them out on the top inner foam of the hard shell backpack. Let's them cool down and it stops the top foam flying away in gusts of wind!

 

[With The Birds]

I drop them in the open section where the phantom normaly sits. Stick them in the allocated spaces when i pack up. Last one flown stays in the bird.
