I have seen a few pilots attaching the new homing devices to their Phantoms. I've thought about doing the same things, BUT will they mess with the Phantom's electronics/soul?

There are numerous threads relating to tracking devices on the forum. The two main contenders are Marco Polo and Trackimo. They are usually mounted at the base of the legs of the drone and I've never read of any issues with interference. Smarter people than myself can probably explain the passive or otherwise nature of these devices but these items are sold specifically for things like drones.
