Couldn't find any good, inexpensive options for a reliable, 10 inch tablet holder so created my own. Bent a zinc coated metal rod to raise tablet out of way of antennas and closer to my face, and just cardboard for now to make the hood. Zip tied it on so it can be easily removed if necessary. Also made a small surfer for fun but not sure if it will help any. Very sturdy frame and hood works great with no wiggle or movement at all!

Does that alloy foil antenna really work?

Going to find out here soon! But hopes aren't high on the cardboard and foil.

Nice, might have to upgrade! I want an antenna booster as well but not ready to spend another 100 or so quite yet! Is it pretty sturdy without wiggle?
