hero 3 cable needed

I have the phantom 1, hero3+black system.
Added the Boscam 7" monitor and avl58 video link system.
From the installation video I gather there is another cable needed for the hero3+ since it uses hdmi.
Where can I find that cable?

No, you need the USB-AV cable. Plenty of places sell them. You will have to solder the connections to the AVL58 though.

No, you need a USB-AV cable. That is HDMI.

You will need to modify it and solder to get the connection to the AVL58. I'm not aware of a plug and play solution from a bare GoPro to the AVL58. All will require soldering.

In the installation video it clearly showed a specific cable with no soldering required.
And that cable does not come in the box. Which it should.
As the Hero3+ does not have video output like the previous models did.

Yes it does. The 3+ and the 3 support AV out via the USB port on the side. You need a USB-AV cable as I said.
The cable that comes with the AVL58 is for connecting to the H3-2D gimbal. It doesn't come with the cable to connect to a bare GoPro.

Are you connecting to a Zenmuse gimbal or just the bare GoPro? If it's the bare GoPro then you need the USB-AV cable that I linked above.
