I have a phantom 2 vision and I am using a go pro 4 black but the wifi to phone is terrible is there anything else I can do to make fpv better
I was told I'm stuck with the phantom being 5.8ghz HELP

Sorry but not really, the wifi on the go pro is just for remote control not FPV.
You may be able to find some add-ons etc to help somewhat but the cost vs benefit would be ....

the vision and vision plus have video wifi transmitters onboard that send to repeater/phone.

If you really want fpv you may want to think about finding a used plus online ,
probably cheaper in long run. AND they work well!
