Help with compass calibration, please....

I am I having a problem with the proper procedure for compass calibration. I have probably had to calibrate six or seven times from moving to various different locations, but sometimes in the same location every day or two. I have use the technique shown in the DJI tutorial of holding it out front and dancing around 360 then pointing the camera the ground and doing the same. It doesn't work too well for me..... am I doing something wrong ?

I'm in a parking lot to do it, but the cars are 20 or 30 feet away…

There may be rebar or something in the sub-surface of the pavement.

Also, be sure your pockets are empty of car keys, cell phone, etc.
