Help with 8050-1

Anyone have any experience with registering a uav with the faa? I'm a pilot and an aircraft owner so I know how painful the process can be, but I have a few questions about the 8050.
- maximum takeoff weight? P3P
- engine model designation?
-engine power output?
Also how did you provide a bill of sale? Notarized sales receipt?
I'm doing all this as the first step in a 333 exemption. Thanks in advance for any advice or info.

I am doing the same. I have the form already, they mailed me 2 of them, just in case. Forgot about getting the bill of sale notarized. I am just going to use the order form that was emailed to me from where I bought my Phantom.

As for specs, just use default values if it's a P3P. The form that was sent to me was VERY basic. Maybe someone else filled one out too and can help.

Yes but a full notarized description is required along with the 8050-1.

Funny, the actual form itself doesn't say anything about a full description of the unit. You'd think that they would put that on there somewhere, unless I'm missing it. But of course I will do that anyway. Just strange...
