Hello, I recently crashed and the 8-Pin Cable that comes out of the Drone leg and attaches to the Gimbal broke. Bummer.

I'm trying to replace it but the leg hole the cable comes out of is way to small to run the 8-Pin Cable through. I'm assuming the 8-pin connector was crimped on after running through the leg hole.

Two Questions:

1. Does anyone have experience with this repair?
2. Where might a person find a 180mm 8-Pin Crimper?

Thanks in advance!!

RJ

You don't need a crimper - if you fold the connector in an upright position (parralel with cable) it slides through the opening it's tight but it does go through.

How do you remove the white wax like substance that holds the cable to the system board?

Does this cable carry video signal from Gopro to phantom then to Tx via the FPV Hub?
