help please, in which order?

just bought a phantom 2, Can anybody explain to me the order on starting from scratch on how to do things on pc
DOWNLOAD/INSTALL DRIVERS
" " DJI PHANTOM 2 ASSISTANT
" " DJI RC ASSISTANT
UP GRADE THE FIRMWARE ON THE H3-2D GIMBAL
REGISTER ON DJI WEBSITE

In what order do I do these 5 tasks ?????????

There is a lot of differing opinions about whether to update at all, if you have a brand new P2.

I did but it took quite a lot of messing around to get it back into calibration, between the transmitter and the P2.

Before you change anything, I'd recommend that you just check it works ok at all, I.e people have reported DOA on a number of occasions. I had a partially faulty transmitter but I was unable to get a replacement as I left it too late and had tried all sorts of things to try to get the Phantom flying ok.

Personally, I'd just test fly it first before you do anything like taking it apart to for gimbals etc.

Also read the fly-always thread, as there is a lot of useful information about avoiding a fly-away.
