My app & controller are updated to most recent versions.
    App 2.8.3
    RC 1.6.0
Iv'e tried 4 different SD cards in the drone.
    With firmaware 1.9.60
    Tried about 100 different combinations.

I cannot for the life of me get the drone to initiate update process.

I have a mac I used disk utility to format the cards MS-DOS Fat.

The app times out when I try to format card in drone.

DJI technical support is useless, they tell me I have to ship drone in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Are you using a micro sd to sd adaptor? Is the write lock on?(on the adaptor)?
Do you have antivirus or anti malware running on your Mac?
Have you tested copying any other file to the micro sd card?

Yes using adapter. No antivirus or malware running.
I've tried other files on cards.

By the way DJI customer service is automated garbage. I won't be buying another DJI product.

Took an hour yesterday to get threw to tech support. I was number 38 in line. I spent an hour on the phone, he had all my info to get an RMA ticket. He got disconnected, mind you he had all my info, including my call back number. I never got a return phone call. I now have to start the process over. DJI might have a good product, but they can't back it up with the proper customer service. Horrible, Horrible experience.
