help needed

Just got a P3P yesterday and trying to figure it out, a lot of scattered info on the forum here but is there a step by step process to get this up and flying ? I have a fair bit of previous experience with fixed wing remotes but all this downloading stuff that I'm reading about and the problems, I got the gimbal moving around and camera taking pics at first now nothing is working, I deleted the DJIGo app once cause I got a disconnect message and now looking for some help from the gurus here ? thanks

First of all make sure SD card is in the gimble. Turn it all on. You may be asked for an update on the app when you connect it. Go through what it tells you to do then the battery will auto update

Re-install app, reboot if needed. try it again...

got the motors running,don't know how I did that, put the blades on and went to fly and then I get IMU failure, calibrated the compass again for the 10th time and couldn't the motors to start.....I'm not happy

"IMU failure" is not the compass. Calibrate the IMU. See here....
