Mostly toyed around with the smaller $80-100 drones that were extremely difficult to control but now i am so happy i went with the DJI Phantom 3 Advanced. This quadcopter is amazing and basically flies itself and produces amazing quality footage. I still have plenty to learn and definitely look forward to seeing what this thing can do. I'm located in a Northwest Chicago Suburb

Hey Farns514!

I'll be heading up to visit my brother around thanksgiving and he lives out in Winfield, which is about 30 mins east of the city! I wanna bring my bird and get some shots of the city, can you recommend any cool and legal places i can put her in the air while im up that way??? I would really appreciate it! Thanks!
