Heli-X is the only simulator available for Mac, PC and Linux that has a model of the Phantom to practice with. Version 5 was released over the new year.
I have not had much time with version 5 yet but I can report that the 3D scenery has been improved. The Phantom maintains a hover now with hands-off sticks. I am using a PS3 controller and in version 4.3 the Phantom would always enter a slow climb with hands-off sticks.
Anyway posted as a head ups to anyone interested in some simulator time. You can see my other posts for video of Heli-X in action with the Phantom model although they were from version 4.3
Future upgrades are always free to anyone purchasing the full version by the way.
