Hi guys,

Another post that's probably been made but I took my drone out today and got to about 30m up and lost signal to the camera. Very frustrating as I've had this in different locations now. I was in my neighbourhood with about 10 links. I'm in the UK if that helps.

Is downgrading it my best option or?

Any advice?

Thanks

Straight overhead?

It was pretty much over me, still nothing signal to the camera keeps cutting

The antennas in the quad are not positioned for good reception at their tips (straight down).
You'd need to lay your controller's antennas down (parallel to the ground) to maximize for overhead flying but it will still be a poor alignment.

Keep the controller's antennas vertical and try adding some horizontal distance and reevaluate.

It may just be that's it.

(In other words, point the nose of the controller at the aircraft (for the video signal) and keep the adjustable antenna as perpendicular to the craft as reasonably possible.)
