Wondering if the new iPad Pro can be used as a monitor for a second screen view if it's attached to the HMDI module. If not what are the alternatives for a 12-14 inch monitor that could be used in daylight and is light and portable so a second person can view the flight?

Thanks

Andrew

iPhones and iPads are not typical monitors.

iPads and iPhones do not have HDMI inputs. They can create an HDMI output through an adapter. In case you want to use HDMI module HDMI out to connect a monitor, go for a monitor from Apple or any other source.

If you want to have a bright screen, pickup a site monitor that has at least 1000 cd/m2 brightness, all other monitors would need some kind of shades.

Sounds like you've "volunteered" to find out for us. Although, after getting the iPad you may prefer using it to fly. Buy two!!
