Having problems installing software to new phantom FC40

We just purchased a new Phantom FC 40 and downloaded all the software from DJi web site. We checked the box for course lock and home lock but when we tried our controller to the program nothing on the screen moved.

Can anyone gives us some help on what we should try and do. It is like the controller is not linking to the program.

Did you check IOC box ?

Yes we did. But when we check the controller to the program on the computer, nothing moves on the computer with the joysticks or switches.

If the TX is switched on and Phantom on and USB connected to PC then it should show movement ..

That is where we are having our problem - it shows no movement at all.

Unplug from PC and test the motors - Sounds like your Tx is not connecting to the Phantom ..

Just a thought - This happened to me the other day and it was the USB plug not fully inserted into the Phantom ..
