I was looking on eBay and Amazon for a Gimbal Saver and came across this one. It looks effective and for a low price. It's 3D printed out of plastic. I was just curious if anyone has tried it. I ordered one and will post updates when it arrives for anyone interested. [IMG]

I like this one below. This also comes with a carbon fiber camera protector, which I'm a fan of also. These two protectors really saved my gimbal in a recent crash. Nothing happened to the camera or gimbal, but the rest of the craft was trash, including all 4 motors and props and body shell. I thought it was totalled when I first had the crash, but $300 and it's fixed. Total surprise, just because of the gimbal and camera protection IMO.

I have a similar gimbal and ribbon cable protector from Dynamic 3D. A very tight fit, but does not interfere with camera operation or balance. No crash yet. Fitted on a P3S and then on a P3A. Good customer service.

It was a little pain to install because the Allen screws were stuck to plastic and started stripping so I used the Torx screw used to open the back of the camera and it worked just fine. It was a size T7

I've seen similar gimbal ribbon protectors for the P4 on Amazon, made of aluminum or 3D-printed plastic. Which, if either, would you recommend?
