Has any tried this Gopro?

I am under the impression it is fitted into the housing and cant be removed from it,is that the case?
Also what do you think the chances are for using this for FPV?
I can see the USB port is blocked when the back is on but if you put the skeleton back on it might be accessible.
I am more worried if you can get video out via the USB like you can with the 3 series?

It will output video via usb. It will not fit in any current gimbal so it would be hard mounted to the Phantom and video will be horrible.
Buy a used Hero 3 Black, I'm selling a bunch of them if you're interested..

It isn't for a Phantom.it's for a different quad.
I already have a Hero 3+ for the Phantom that is currently away being fixed.
I can get the new basic Hero for £89.99

Well Gopro themselves say it unable to do what I want but to be honest I will remain sceptical
Would prefer hearing it from someone who has one and tried it.
