I have had a few people ask if I could post a photo of my Hardshell Backpack to show how i fit in my extras & have seen a few comments here and there that it can't fit much in.

The items i can easily fit in are;

* Phantom
* Transmitter
* Charger
* 3 x Batteries
* 4 x snap on prop guards (with mounts attached)
* 8 Props
* Sunshade
* Gimbal protector
* Bag of spares & USB cable

I did have to cut a bit of the foam around each arm so that the mounts fit in properly, just did this with a sharp kitchen knife, wouldn't even notice it wasn't factory.

Here is a link to the prop guards. XCSOURCE 4x Quick Release Propeller Prop Guard White Protector Adapter Snap For DJI Phantom 3 1 2 Vision FC40 RC128: Amazon.co.uk: Toys & Games

They came with 16 longer replacement screws and a tool to fit them into the motors. No modifications needed to fit them in the pack where the charger would go.

Nice fit, they must have changed the design. As my layout, at the controller end is vastly different. I do not have the two smaller holes on each side and controller hole is wider on one side.

I use a Sony Xperia Z as my display, so that fits nicely in the top section

I keep a battery in the drone, and 3 spares (only got 1 spare, but 2 on order).

Where do you put the charger? I assume you leave it at home?
