Handlebar mount for RC

Hey guys, has anyone tried attaching the RC to handlebars of bicycle?
I'm trying to use Active Track mode but when the drone loses me, I have to stop and make sure he's ok.
If I had the RC mounted on the handlebars I think I could just operate him back into position as I cycle?

Any thoughts?

Mount a tripod mount to the handlebars

I did that. I use it for GoPro on my handlebars. But attaching the RC unit to that is proving rather difficult.
The closest thing to a solution I've found so far is reverse mounting a Joby Gorilla Pod onto the handlebars and gripping the RC.
Kinda jenky though :$

You'd have to mod a mount onto the bottom of your controller too, of course.
