So after 47 successful flight I discovered I had cracks on both rear arms, so now what? I could send it in and wait 2 months or I could open her up and see for myself the extend of the damage.

I live in Cape Town and unfortunately there is no dji here, so I took the plunge and opened her up, now from the outside I had small cracks and it was only visible when I twisted the arms slightly, I was shocked to find that both screws where completely broken off when I opened her!

I managed to source a two part epoxy made for plastic products, I reglues all parts and filled the shell area with more epoxy, it cured nicely and so I replaced all the screws! I also placed 2 cable ties on each leg and while I had her open I also glued the other arms!

Guys each to his own what you do when your bird cracks but whatever you do, don't fly! The damage on the inside can be much worse than you think
