Hi all,
I wanted to write this little post just to say how impressed I am with the resilience of the Phantom. I Was flying around the lake last weekend filming some geese and seagulls and decided to bank around a pier of rocks. Before I could see where I was headed I clipped the corner of a rock and heard a splash. By the time got to the location the Phantom was upside down in about 2 feet of water, resting on a ledge.. with the GPS light still blinking. I pulled it out and disconnected the battery. Went home and opened up the top to let it dry out. A few hours I put it back together and it was up and running perfectly.
I thought for sure something would have shorted out.. but it was fine. My Gopro was not!
The Phantom is a tough little unit and well worth the money!! My hat's off to you guys at DJI!!
Eric
