This is really strange,

I was flying yesterday and realized my gimbal was not working. (range of motion was very minimal)

I brought it to my office today to update all the firmware and now it will not move at all with the lever on the back of the RC, even after several calibrations and restarts etc.
Then I noticed something... I hit the yaw stick (in my case the left stick) and the camera moves about a half an inch in each direction.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I should mention I am a novice with the P2 as I just got it about a week ago.

Also I am in Naza-M mode (and I did switch it back to Phantom mode to see if that would fix it and it did not)

The way the gimbal reacts to your stick input is a feature added to the latest firmware to help it better sync with the P2's movements.

As for the lack of movement following the updates you did, you'll need to now calibrate the X1 channel in the Phantom assistant software. If that doesn't restore response to the gimbal pitch then you may be experiencing the issue several others have after updating to the latest firmware on the P2 and/or gimbal: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=14624
