H3-3D Gimbal drifts before takeoff *CAUSES PROBLEMS!!!*

Discussion in 'Zenmuse H3-3D/H4-3D GoPro Gimbal' started by lightingbryan, May 13, 2014.

  1. I have found an issue. Maybe its why some people are have a terrible time with the left leg issue. During startup the gimbal does its dance. But then it slowly slowly pans to the left or right (it has done it both ways in my testing). When it pans to the left the leg is almost in view without even touching the TX. But if it goes to the right the left leg is almost non existent.

Why is this happening? I can't seem to figure it out. I am also having issues with the Gimbal not being level. This could be the reason because if turned slightly during warm up it would cause the horizon to look tilted. I have run the calibration many times with Assistant. In the manual it states that the Transmitter trims value is beyond the limit. What does this mean? How would you fix it?

Please help. Also this could be the cause of MANY peoples issue with the Gimbal.

Same thing started happening to my gimbal after the 3.02 update. Was fine before that. What version of firmware you on?

Mine does that too, but settles back to centered after 30 s or some movement of the P2. I was wondering if it was defective, but I guess not.

Have you installed the anti-interference board for the gimbal?
