I have searched for this on the board and havent found anything. I guess a little background first. I have been flying a 1sq vcam for a few months learning to fly a quad, I dont have a phantom yet but I have been looking at them and flying them for a while. I built my first plane about 10 years ago. I was wondering if ground station or the P2+ have the ability to fly to a different location and land autonomously. for example if I want to send my Phantom to my brothers house with a package would it be possible to have it land in his back yard using either of these programs? kind of like what amazon prime air wants to do. Thank you for your help

Yes, you can. You can program a single waypoint and execute a landing when it arrives at its destination. Theoretically, you can go as far as you have battery power. Once the waypoint(s) gets loaded, your Phantom doesn't need to maintain a signal to the Ground Station.

How do you command a landing at a distant location?

You enter the command to land when you program the waypoint.
