They are claiming it's only two weeks away! Do we believe them? Can't wait to hear about the ground station flyaways! Let the fun begin!

No! I love this stuff! I just think too much about the range of possible outcomes. In the hands of the bold and curious, ground station could be a temptation too hard to resist not to push it beyond visual range and possibly through a neighbor's window! I also foresee some very creative uses for it.

Buy the kit that comes with the mini iosd and canbus hub. Sell the hub. Use the iosd. It's like $220.

I'm a little slow, what will this update do?

What hardware requirements are there to use it?

This will allow semi-autonomous flight with the Phantom 2. You can plug in a series of points on a map (waypoints) and then tell the craft to take off. It will follow the waypoints pretty closely. It works on either Apple devices or PCs.

Sorry for the newb post, but to confirm, is the PC version of the Ground Station software already compatible with the Phantom 2? Was looking at maybe getting into that at some point here soon.

    Thanks!

the 2.4gHz Data Link with BT comes with the GS BTU included in the kit. You do not have to buy one separately.
