Ground Station connection issue

I have a phantom 2 with gimbal and go pro 3, Im having trouble getting the data link for the ground station to connect, it seems like it something wrong with the drivers in the software, I used the disk that came with it and downloaded from the site as well. Any ideas on what I should try next?
