Hello all, and greetings from Birmingham Alabama.
I brought home a p4 from Best Buy yesterday, and I'm pouring over all of the materials before my first flight. I gotta admit I'm pretty nervous.
I haven't cared about drones, like at all, ever. Then over Christmas break my son all of a sudden started talking about drones, so I bought him a cheapo nano drone from a local drug store. It turns out he hates it, but I was instantly hooked.
I had planned on buying a P3S. But I didn't want to spend the money, and they've been out of stock locally for weeks. Then yesterday I saw they had the P4 in stock, and bought it on a whim. Needless to say, that was much more than I had ever planned on paying, and to be honest it was a silly decision considering I'm such a novice.
I have zero plans of doing anything commercially. That means I just bought a $1200 toy. Anyway, just wanted to drop in and say hi.
