Hey everybody. Finally signed up for an account with the forum after getting a ton of good info from it.

Just wanted to say hi. Haven't really done much to my Phantom. Added a headlight to it to make it easier to see which way it's facing when it gets out a ways, and gave it a Kiwi Green paint job yesterday. Let the paint dry overnight and after assembling and letting it dry some more I finally took it out flying tonight. Found out that it's really easy to do the bonehead 90* top cover mounting ooops and make yourself wonder why all your props are suddenly spinning "backwards".

Other than that nothing done to it. My Fatshark FPV setup is somewhere between a Hobbyking warehouse and Hawaii, so I'm still waiting on that. Also looking at possibly doing the 2 battery tray along the side thing. Not too sure about that one yet, since I'm a huge fan of having things looking clean.

Anyway, here are a few quick shots of the Green Phantom.

Nice paint job!!

I don't envy you though if you crash and have to go looking for it, well, pretty much anywhere in the state of HI other than directly on the beach :?

Yeah, that kind of crossed my mind when I had the pieces hanging up and was laying down the base coat. Just keeping my fingers crossed that it never gets to that point. The Kiwi Green is a Honda color and the same as my Element. Yeah, I'm a dork like that. :p

Aloha and welcome to the forums! Nice paint job.
