Great Deal on a New P3P!

I too am wondering if it is worth the jump from a pv2+ to a p3 pro. I currently only get about 750 to 1000 ft in my wifi saturated neighborhood. With my fpvlr stage 2 upgrade i now get 1500 to 2000 ft. What i want is more distance. But i am afraid i will not get much better distance than my current 1500 to 2000 ft.

there's way too many factors when it comes to range. yes, there's a lot of wifi in my hood but there's a huge discrepancy in range when I'm launching from my backyard as opposed to taking the little walk up the hill via a fire road for more altitude. and I've also just recently started scanning wifi so I can use a custom channel.

and personally, here's a big one for me...I've just started using litchi app. it might be an option for some to overcome range issues if you're brave enough to let the quad do it's mission by itself and have no visuals on your mobile device. it's super scary but I've started to trust it more.
