Well, great and amazing mainly apply to the fact that my bird came back home...

The weight shouldn't really be too much for it, I wonder if the phone somehow affected the control signals though.

Depending on where the phone was attached it could have thrown off the center of gravity. The control system probably has a limited ability to deal with a bad CG. I also noticed the video is often tipped to the side like it can't get to level.

And you gotta wonder why the onboard video was corrupt. Probably because the battery ejected while it was recording, I suppose.

Compass was NOT calibrated after fitting the phone.
Phone wad inside an OPENED cover, partly blocking airflow, I expect.
Phone was attached on front right leg, which if course is pretty close to the compass.
This was a very scary experience!!!

Video was only partial, the 'landing' part was missing, first parts were ok.
