Has anyone had any experience with add on devices (GPS) to track your Phantom should it get away from you. I recently lost my Phantom for about a week (eventually found it) and I'm wondering what's out there that's good. I'm thinking something that's not too expensive and fairly easy to install.

Your question has come up on this forum at least a dozen times. My answer has been the Drone-Mods tracker, which weighs just 50 g, attaches with high strength velchro, and has a battery life supposedly of 14 days. You do have to pay $5/mo for the tracking service, and the device itself plus tax and the service for one year will cost you about $200. Put that cost against a lost Phantom. So far I've not had a flyaway with or without the tracker, but I've ground tested it and it really works well. Not so well underwater I'd guess.
