I keep losing gps once in awhile mid flight. Noticed I go from 16 satellites to 4. P-atti followed by P-opti mode. I'm afraid to fly long range due to this issue. I just got the P3 Pro about a month ago. Should I return it? Bad compass?

If you're out in clear sky when this occurs, something isn't right. If this is reproducible on all flights I would have it looked at. You will lose GPS going under or near high tension power wires, the big towers that carry 450,000+ volts.

You should not loose GPS if you are flying in clear space, away from tall buildings, power lines etc. are you flying at 200 plus feet levels?

Go to healthy drones and upload your flight log. It will tell you if you really are losing signal. You can post it on here and we can advise you better.

I uploaded the data to healthydrones. GPS/compass looks good but under notifications it says mode was changed to ATTI. I'm 100% sure im not changing fly modes mid air. Im using an iPad. Report: HealthyDrones.com - Innovative flight data analysis that matters
