Gopro upside down mode / backwards

Yes and no. I use it all of the time and it has never been backwards.
I opened the GoPro editor and tried the "Flip/Reverse" button. It flips the picture upside down and what was on the left side of the screen went to the right side, but that is what one would expect.
Of course, using the "Upside down" feature on the camera makes this unnecessary.

So the issue I have is with the FPV monitor...
I have the Gopro hooked up via USB to the video transmitter. The Gopro is handing upside down from the bottom of the phantom. To make the video right side up I turn on upside down mode. This makes the sky right side up.
Some times... when I turn left... the video goes right and the other way around too.
Its almost like the X is flipped, but the Y is not...
So the issue I have is with the FPV monitor...

Make sure you have the latest updates installed on your GoPro. That may or may not help. Next try turning everything on in a different order. Sometimes that makes a difference. So try GoPro first, then Phantom or Phantom first, then GoPro. Happens once in a great while to me and I power down everything and start all over.
