GoPro keeps shutting of once connected to the Phantom 2

I've been having this issue for over a month now..
The GoPro boots up fine when I'm holding it, but once I connect it to the Phantom it keeps shutting down..

The GoPro was connected to the PC with a usb cable for over 8 hours so the battery is full.

I have to remove the battery a few times before it works again..
Anyone has experience with this?

Which GoPro do you have? Have you done a firmware update on the GoPro? How are you connecting it to the Phantom? Please add details so we all can help you out more...

Sounds like your GoPro needs a firmware update. Are you flying a gopro3 or 4?

I had a similar problem so I powered the phantom on first then the gopro (while attatched) and I was fine.
