Just want to give everyone a heads up about the Hero 4 Black.

My church asked me to film their soccer league, and it was the first time I used my new Hero 4 Black. I wanted to get some action shots so I recorded in 1080p 120fps W fov. During post production I noticed that the grass and trees had a shimmery/glittery/static effect. After doing some research I have been told that "what I see is aliasing from selecting a mode that has poor sampling off the sensor to obtain the 120fps" and to use 60fps when recording from the P2. Bummer!

There are a number of videos out there in 1080/120 that have a normal amount of aliasing. Grass has a lot of detail and is typically a challenge for many image capture systems. You may want to try Protune as it will increase the bit rate and reduce aliasing.

How high was the copter in the air? Does the software allow you to see the image on your smart device to control the camera and/or its settings?

Thanks!
