I am a first-time poster, so thank you for the wealth of info on the site. This site is great for a beginner like myself.
My questions is, connecting the GoPro the Phantom 2 you need to screw in the arm/bar apparatus. That is inconvenient if you are out and about and want to do some separate filming without the Phantom. Does anyone have their own technique for safely holding the gopro in? Obviously I don't want my GoPro falling off in flight, but have people used a strong rubber band with success or any other contraption?
Thanks.

So if I am understanding you correctly you hate installing/uninstalling the camera mount bracket that secures the gopro to the zenmuse gimbal. I do too and figured I would try a rubber band or Velcro strip. Should work fine.

I've used both rubber bands and velcro strips to hold my camera on. Should work fine unless you have an acident.
