Gopro 3+ black freezing

My new [2 days] Gopro 3+ black has twice frozen- refuses to power on. Removing the battery for a short while seems to fix this.
Question is should I return the thing- or is this just something that a Gopro does?
The SD card I'm using is a Sandisc as recommended by Gopro. It was supplied with the latest firmware installed.

It must be said, at this stage I'm not impressed with this cam.

Return it. Had same issue with Black 3 and it just got progressively worse. Had GoPro warranty it - it was 2 weeks old. Since then no problems.
