GOOGLE MAPS NEED 3G/4G

After much experimenting I have found the secret to getting GOOGLE maps , you MUST have 3G/4G connection .

You don't need any data connection as you can cache the maps at home over wifi and they will be available when you go onsite.

One thing I noticed today on Go4 is the sat map of my house is actually more up-to-date than google maps. It's about a year old and google is 3 years. I doubt there is any global map source that would keep all of us happy.


I have cellular but as others have said you don't need it and can cache the maps.

without 3g/4g connection all I get it is HERE maps , I think you can cache them as long as you leave the device on , turning off device erases the cache , IN ORDER TO GET GOOGLE MAPS TURN ON 3G/4G CONNECTION instantly switches to GOOGLE MAPS , turn off 3g/4g connection = no GOOGLE MAPS , turning off Phantom with 3g/4g connection and app running = HERE MAPS

is your phantom on, with only the app running I get HERE maps , but with phantom on I get GOOGLE
