First of all: take it easy, man. Its a cheap 140$ piece of chinese ebay merchandise... A friend of mine didnt get his 800$ zenmuse gimbal to work... well THAT sucks

Depending whether your on a mac or a pc theres different options to flash the hex files to the board. For pc theres a simple gui i think and for mac you need to use a command line in terminal. I have that command saved somewhere but i'm not on my computer for the weekend.

If you do not get any clear readings from the IMU, well then the board might be damaged. This was the case with my gimbal, so i contacted the seller and i got a new sensor board.

(Apologizes in advance because I'm new to this forum)
Points:
1) Does anyone know the weight of this gimbal? :?: :?
2) I've heard good reports on an aluminum gimbal from GoodLuckBuy.com

This gimbal appears to be shorter and doesn't require an extension to the landing gear. It also keeps the weight up higher - an apparent advantage.
The only disadvantage seems that it is probably be heavier.

I have that exact one. I can't weigh it at the moment as I'm away from home until Monday. Will get a figure for you when I get back.
It's pretty light.
