For the love of God please stop "Testing" your Phantoms before someone gets killed.
I mean really do I even need to say "wait for it...".

No we need future Darwin awards winners like this kid to keep doing what they are doing. Much better for our hobby if they crash and burn in the early stages ;)

Do you think you could actually be killed from that?

I wonder what went wrong that causes it to crash like that

Typical fly away. He was just hovering the drone when all of a sudden it just started to fly away and hit a building. Compass was calibrated, plenty of battery. Was just bringing it in for a landing and it suddenly took off.

This is good. At least he had the foresight to find a nice safe brick wall to test against. This should be a compulsory test before moving on to the "How high can I go next to an airport?" tests.

The line for stupid is long and distinguished.

prop guards may have saved the day as the props would likely have kept spinning??

It looked a bit like the idiot managed to pull all four props into a vertical plane. Could that fact have caused the flyaway, I wonder, since the P3 was temporarily in a plane at right angles to what it is programmed to be?
