Goggles for P3?

I want to buy a pair of goggles for my P3. I want value and quality but worried about my pocket book. Or would I be happy with my Galaxy S5. I will be flying in areas that don't have in internet access do the GPS on phones and pads work independently? Will the apps work. Just some questions a ole fart has for you young tech'eys...

i think that you need a nvidia Shield tablet, in order to connect FPV goggles, but i think that with the S5 You should be fine, obviously a tablet its a lot better.
