GO Pro Frame for Phantom 3

Hey all.

I randomly stumbled on gimbal guard.com and i found this product.

I am just wondering if anyone has tried this? and apart from the obvious reason of having another camera on your bird- what is it actually for?

but I assume it is genuinely useful for search and rescue flights in the night- don't think and ACOG or and EOTECH would be suitable on the rail....

I haven't tried this, but my gimbal was acting erratic and I shipped it to a guy to fix, so I attached a gropro with a regular bike helmet sticky mount to the bottom of my phantom. Worked fine for a temporary fix, but I ended up buying a whole new camera/gimbal assembly and putting it on. Video reminded me of my syma x5 with all its banking and swooping.
