Advanced GO PRO App only works for one flight session?

    Everytime I shut down the go pro app and drone I am not able to reconnect my controller to drone without uninstalling and reinstalling a new go pro app. Please help

    Since you are posting on the Phantom 3 help section I'll assume you are referring the GO app and not the GoPro (camera app).

    What mobile device are you using and are you using an approved device? Have you tried to power-cycle the mobile device and Phantom?

    I am using a Samsung note 4 and yes I am using the new dji go app. I never had this issue before it just started.

    sync your flight logs, uninstall the app, manually delete the DJI folder from your device, reinstall the app. then rebind the controller.

    solved my own problem. when you start the app on the note 4 its asks if you want to use this usb connection as the default. I wasn't checking the box!!!!! thanks for the responses though. This may have been a no brainer for most but now I know
