Gimbal won't settle. Help!

Hi All,

So this is my very first post and my very first drone and my very first issue!
Just got the phantom 4 pro+ a couple of days ago and took it for its first flight today which was great except.. when I turn the drone on the gimbal points at the floor then points as high as it can, then the floor, then the top etc etc. And doesn't stop! It never settles and points straight forward (or stays straight down!)
I don't know if I've missed a setting somewhere or not done something but I can't get any footage with it like that! A couple of times for no appparent reason it would start working but if I turn it off and on again (after changing batteries) it goes back to rotating between up and down. I'm lost for ideas!
Anyone else had anything similar or knows a fix?

Perhaps your camera is hitting the gimbal ribbon cable. Check out this thread in the DJI forum.
